Research Interests: Parallel and multicore computing, Algorithms for POMDP solvers and nonparametric state estimation.

Research Description: My work, within the Centre for Doctoral Training in Pervasive Parallelism, is on utilising multicore architectures to enable improved implementations of algorithms such as POMDP solvers and particle filter based state estimators. I am currently investigating design space exploration to achieve tradeoffs between computational cost, accuracy and energy consumption, motivated by applications such as in wearable sensors.
